Nelson had entrepreneurial dreams since he was 16. As a secondary school kid, he sold bags before the emergence of the blogshop era. He then moved on to selling CNY goodies, and ran a bespoke tailoring business at one point. 

In 2014, he founded Avernor, a Creative & Marketing Agency in Singapore, and has served over 120 clients from the government sector, retail, food & beverage, vehicle services, financial services, consulting and fashion industries. Some of Avernor’s key clients include the Ministry of Manpower, Changi General Hospital, FNA Group, Tuffi Group, Atlas Sound & Vision, as well as Kaplan Singapore. 

Having accumulated a wealth of experience in business and marketing, Nelson naturally became a seasoned marketer, web developer and creative designer. And as a hands-on person, Nelson was determined to put his skillset to the test by starting an e-commerce store. Handling every aspect of the store himself, he managed to generate over half a million dollar over a year in revenue by just relying on traffic generated from Facebook and Instagram ads. 

A self-proclaimed “Jack of all trades, master of all”, you might catch him doodling dragons and mountains illustrations on his iPad. Or working the coffee machine.

Bili started his career with the Ministry of Transport (MOT) at the Land Transport Division. Over a period of more than 5 years, he was involved in the regulation of policies governing the taxi industry, promoted cycling as an alternative form of transport, reviewed road safety policies and represented Singapore's land transport interest both in ASEAN and on global platforms. 

After leaving civil service, he took on the role of a Consultant with HGE International, a boutique-consulting agency that specialises in management consulting and revenue management. He further expanded his consultancy experience as an affiliate consultant with Asia's leading F&B consultancy company, Chef at Work.  He has since worked on multiple projects related to Marketing & Branding, Business Strategy and Franchise Development. As a business consultant, he has helped various companies in the food & beverage, technology, retail, advertising, software and education industry to grow their business through assisting them in the process of strategic planning, business expansion and allocating resources. 

Bili‘s foray into the domain of digital marketing began when he took up the role of Business Development Director with KACE Digital. He has since been involved in helping businesses create products and services to drive sales with a cross-channel, digitally led approach to marketing communications. About 2 years ago, he assumed the role of Managing Director at Avernor Pte Ltd, a creative digital marketing agency, and has grown the revenue of the company by more than 8x and built a team of 15 talents based in Singapore since then.

Cheng Guan kicked start his career immediately upon graduating from NTU where he was involved in an exhibition with Tiger Beer (2010 - 2011), as well as in an international design conference and exhibition for the International Design Association, in Taiwan (2011).

Shortly after he returned to Singapore, he was hired as an art director at one of the big four advertising agencies, TBWA. Three years after his stint at TBWA, he left advertising to join his first start-up with his partner at Invade, in 2013. Invade deals with retail in spaces and innovating spaces for the retail market. 3 years, 100+ clients, 200 projects later, his start-up got acquired for $1.1 million USD.
