You will develop strategic thinking and leadership skills required for managing the strategic contribution of digital technologies to organisational success and transformation.

Business Model Innovation and FinTech

Explore theory and practice of digital disruption as applied in the context of Financial Services and Financial Processes. Investigate cutting edge activity and research using real life cases.

Fundamentals of Programming

The unit is intended to give the student a grounding in information technologies and appropriate programming including Python, which underpin many contemporary business applications.

Finance for Managers

Understand how the financial professional in an organisation can integrate with the other management functions to support and achieve the organisational strategic objectives.

Risk Management for Financial Institutions

This module covers aspects related to the management of risk at commercial and investment banks, investment managers, financial regulators and depositories, etc. 

Extended Research Proposal

Students are expected to identify, structure, frame and investigate a complex managerial or business issue and produce an individual research proposal. 

Dissertation

Students are expected to investigate a complex managerial or business issue, by collecting, analysing and producing a substantial written document of their achievements and conclusions. This unit is the application of the research project developed in Extended Research Proposal Unit.

Faculty Profile

Armand Abdul Rahim

Armand joined LSBF Singapore Campus in 2020 and specialises in the areas of marketing, human resource management, supply chain, and business management.

Dr Mohamed Siddiq

Dr. Siddiq has taught at universities, colleges, and institutions of higher education in Singapore, Myanmar, Australia, Uzbekistan, and Canada. 

During his teaching career, he was also involved in academic quality assurance and university liaison.

Sidiki Kaba

Sidiki has taught accounting and finance modules at various institutions in Ghana, Vietnam and Singapore since 2013, including over 6 years teaching ACCA, CMA, CIA and CA Singapore courses.

Q. What is the duration of this course?

For full-time studies: 12 months. For part-time studies: 18 months.

Q. What are the entry requirements of this course?

Minimum Academic Entry Requirement:

Students who have successfully completed either of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum GPA of 2.7/4.0 or 3.5/5.0, or equivalent.
  • Students, who have obtained equivalent qualifications in relevant fields, will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and subject to university approval.

Minimum English Language Entry Requirement:

  • IELTS 6.5 overall with no component below 5.5 or
  • Singapore GCE O Level, with a grade of C or above, or equivalent.
